Aquatic Centre Temporary Closure

The UCalgary Aquatic Centre is open most days with many times reserved for specific user groups. Active Living members or visitors who purchase a drop-in pass are welcome to the following pool sessions:
- Adult/Youth Lane Swim
- Family and Lane Swim
- Inflatable Swim

University of Calgary Aquatic Centre pool

Wristbands are required
All pool users must check-in at Client Services to obtain a wristband before accessing the Aquatic Centre. Those who do not have a wristband will be asked to return to Client Services to obtain a wristband.
Adult/Youth Lane Swim
- Times and assigned pool space are indicated on the weekly schedule
- Typically three sessions a day, Monday through Friday: a morning session, a lunch hour session and an evening session
- Days and times will vary based on user groups and special events
- This is a lane swim opportunity to practice your swimming skills with 25m or 50m lanes.
- Pull buoys are available to use.
- A swim test may be required in order to access the deep end.

Family and Lane Swimming
- Times and assigned pool space are indicated on the weekly schedule
- Typically one session a day on Saturdays and Sundays
- Days and times will vary, based on user groups and special events
- Defined family swim space available in both the shallow and the deep end
- 25m defined lanes for lane swimming in the shallow end
- Floating mats, foam logs and preschool slide are available
- Flutter boards and pull buoys are freely available
- Swim test may be required in order to access the deep end

Inflatable Swim
- The pool is set up in a 50m format
- A series of large inflatable toys are linked together, creating a floating obstacle course
- Dates and times are as indicated on the weekly schedule
- Days and times will vary, based on user groups and special events
