Aquatic Centre

Want to learn to swim? Want to obtain your aquatics certification? The Aquatic Centre provides swimming programs and training to all ages. 

Change Rooms & Steam Rooms

Convenient change rooms and steam rooms are provided.

Client Services

The Active Living Client Services team is here to help with memberships, equipment rentals, drop-in, change rooms, steam rooms, court bookings, lockers, towel service, and more.

Climbing and Bouldering Walls

Take your belay test and start climbing, or sign up for registered programs through the Outdoor Centre. 

Fitness Centre

Have access to various fitness equipment and 6 lane, 200m running track. New to the Fitness Centre? Ask us for an on-demand tour (subject to staff availability).

Gymnasiums

Drop in and get moving at the Gold, Red, or Jack Simpson East Gym, hit a functional fitness workout in the Gold Fitness Alcove, or play table tennis in the Red Gym Alcove.

Gymnastics Centres

Acitve Living is proud to offer gymnastics programs for all levels and ages out of two locations — the Calgary gym in the Kinesiology B building on Main campus, and the Cochrane gym at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre in Cochrane.

Olympic Oval

Active Living members and current UCalgary students get access to the Olympic Oval public skating. 

Outdoor Active Facilities

Take your workout outside! Explore a variety of outdoor spaces designed to keep you moving from multi-sport courts and athletic fields to open fitness areas and more.

Racquet Centre

The Racquet Centre is home to seven Squash courts and three Racquetball/Handball courts, all international size, as well as Pickleball courts (play in a racquetball court with modified dimensions).

UCalgary students and Active Living members can access the facility.
